Shopping in London

For the last three days I have been shopping in london mostly on Bond street. Prices here appear to me a bit steep, double that in the US. But I find that the range and quality is better here, even in American stores like Gap. Maybe this is because this is such a big tourist attraction compared to where I was in the US, and all the shoppers seem to have deep pockets too. The downside is the early closing hours (8.00 pm weekdays). And the crowds.

I generally consider shopping a headache, but visiting some stores (Next, gap) here that I really liked actually made it enjoyable. Add to that the fact, that most of the shopping was gifts from my dear sis, it made shopping really enjoyable.
